First things first, Warrrrrr Eagle HEY! My boys are going to be fighting hard tonight against Oregon in the National Championship! I feel like a proud mama! This has been such an awesome year for my Auburn Tigers. We have had the best time going to all the games, tailgating, cookouts, celebrating the wins and it all comes down to tonight. My parents are in Glendale for the game and they are having the best time. Let's go Auburn...it's TIGER TIME!
Secondly, for the past two weeks I have been so super strict with my eating habits. You know, doing all the right things and eating all the right things. Towards the end of December the scale was around 214 and this past Saturday morning the scale said 209! I couldn't believe it. 5 pounds in 10 days is crazy good for me.
So for those of you have been keeping up with the weather here in the south know that we were pretty much snowed in yesterday and today because of all the icy roads. My dad went to the store the day before yesterday and got food so we would have enough if we were snowed in. Typical guy...here is a list of what he got: bread, peanut butter, jelly, chips, hot dogs, chips, milk, chicken fingers, pizza rolls, cheese dip...so lots of junk food to eat. I tried to eat as healthy as possible since I had no way of getting out to the store to buy some healthier options. I had some cereal for breakfast, 4 chicken fingers for lunch and in all honesty, I snacked on several different foods for dinner. I probably consumed about 2,000 calories which is a decent amount more than my 1,000 calorie intake the past two weeks.
Well way to go, Kristen! I get on the scale this morning and it says 212.0. I could kick myself in the butt. That is what I get for eating all those "snacks" for dinner. So today it's back on the band wagon. I worked out with Bob and Jillian on Wii this morning and so far today I have only eaten about 250 calories. I am trying to save up some calories for the big game tonight! I'm pretty sure this isn't the smartest/healthiest way to eat but one day won't hurt. My goal is still to be below 200 by my birthday, April 18th. I got this.

Lastly, since I took about 500 pictures during Christmas and New Year's I figured I didn't need to post all of them on here :) Here are just a few...I will gradually post more in my next few blogs! Enjoy!

You look terrific!! So NORMAL! I wish people could see themselves through the lens that we see you through. (I know I have a tough time with that too!)Forget the 212, and just know that you will continue to move forward. You're an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWhat nice pics! You look amazing. I have to wonder if your dad and my hubby went shopping together for the icy storm. Beloved brought home almost identical items! lol
